Getting to Matrei in East Tyrol

We support eco-friendly traveling and offer a free shuttle service (round trip) when arriving by train to central station "Lienz" (only via direct bookings).

Public transport in the Nationalpark for free

With a valid guest card, which you get on arrival, all public transport is in East Tyrol for free*. Therefore all valleys of the Nationalpark Hohe Tauern can be reached every hour. Schedule can be found here.

* Train connections, bus route 4420 Lienz-Innsbruck and 950X Lienz-Kitzbühel and all „Wanderbus-routes“ are not included.

Car-Free in your skiing holiday

In wintertime a free ski shuttle stops next to our hotel on a regular basis.
